Assessment creators, either attendings or trainees, can create a note to their counterpart about an assessment during the assessment creation process. Trainees can use this feature to ask for feedback on specific aspects of their performance or to provide information about the encounter. Attendings will then see this data when completing the assessment. When an attending creates the assessment, they can also create a note visible to the trainee. Trainees who have left one program and now are joining your program can be added to your program without any further assistance. Previously program admins had to reach out to help and support email to make this happen. Now program admins see the Trainee role option when adding a user to their program.

Program admins now see the option to end a user's membership to their program rather than just removing the user's program membership. This will allow for more accurate representation of your trainee roster over the academic years as well as more accurate reporting.

General Surgery programs using SIMPL now have access to the ABS General Surgery Dashboard in Beta accessible from the reports menu in the SIMPL administrative site.
