Registration:

1. Download the SIMPL App:
SIMPL App for iOS
SIMPL App for Android


2. Open email from help@simpl.org with the subject SIMPL Instructions

3. Click on "Complete Your Registration" button on the email. SIMPL App will open.

4. Create your password and Click "Set Password".

5. Read & review the EULA. Scroll down to the bottom and click "I Accept".

6. You are logged in and ready to use SIMPL!!!!


Initiating Your First SIMPL Assessment


1. In the SIMPL app, to create an assessment, tap the + button in the bottom of the screen. If using the web, please go to the SIMPL Web Platform and click on "Assessments", then click “Create an Assessment”.


2. Select the person you are working with, the setting in which you worked, the activity or activities that you participated in and confirm the date and time of the activity.


3. Tap “Start Assessment”. If it is a faculty member who initiated an assessment, that faculty member will then be able to complete it in their App.  If it is a resident who initiated the assessment, the faculty member who they worked with will be alerted that they have an assessment to complete.


4. Read the prompts, and answer the questions, and tap “Save and Finish” when complete.


What if I don't use a smartphone?


SIMPL offers a limited web version of the assessment toolkit for all trainees and faculty, available on the SIMPL Web PlatformThe web version allows for registration and use of the assessment initiation and response system, but does not include assessment history functionality that the apps have.
