Program administrators can invite attendings, trainees and other program administrators to their program in SIMPL by following these instructions:


1. Login to the SIMPL Admin site


2. Click on the Add User Button on the Users Screen


3. New User Invitation page will appear.



4. Add the person's first name, last name and select their role. Clinician and Program administrator are all role options. Trainees (i.e. residents and fellows) and Attendings should be assigned the Clinician role. Based on the role selected, other data fields may appear. When Clinician is selected, a new question prompt will appear: "Is this user a trainee in your program about whom you would like to collect assessments?". 



If the trainee you are adding is a resident or fellow in your program that you want to be the subject of assessments, you should select "Yes". If the trainee you are adding is a fellow from a different program that you would like to be a rater for trainees in your program, you should select "No." If you are adding an attending, you should select "No." 


You will also be prompted to complete the "Job Title" field. For Attendings, please enter "Attending." For Fellows, please enter "Fellow." For Residents, please enter "Resident."


5. Click Submit. An email to the email address you entered will be sent inviting that person to register a SIMPL Account.
